The Environment, Ecology and Health Club, a unit of JUIT Youth club (JYC) at Jaypee University celebrated World’s ozone day on 16th September 2023. More than 60 students have participated in the celebration of this event. Various activities, plantation drive, poster competition, and poetry were conducted in this event. The vice chancellor of JUIT Prof. R.K. Sharma, HoDs Prof. P. B. Barman and Prof. Sudhir Syal were also present during the celebration of ozone day. They encouraged the students to protect environment by reducing the use of various ozone depleting substances and develop new technologies that will prove useful to reduce the ozone depletion. The event was coordinated by faculty members, Dr. Poonam Sharma, Dr. Ashok Kumar Nadda and student coordinator Mr. Divyansh Goel.
